Congratulations Theresa!

Congratulations Theresa!
Empire Interpreting Service’s Theresa Slater was recently selected to take part in the annual SBA Emerging 200 Initiative (E200).
Each year, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), along with its nationwide network of resource partners, help millions of small businesses start, grow and succeed by selecting 200 small businesses who show a high potential of growth to participate in an intensive curriculum focusing on developing a successful expansion strategy for their business. Theresa will spend one day a week training and participating in workshops with her peers, city leaders and those in the financial community.
This is a very exciting opportunity for Theresa, as well as all of us at Empire Interpreting Service, to grow and continue to be at the forefront of our industry.

CNY Business Exchange Magazine (February 2011) Theresa Slater, President of Empire Interpreting Service, is one of four women asked to share their stories of how they overcame the challenges of loss and failures in their profession.
Theresa talks about how the collapse of one business and life’s obstacles helped push her to go back to college and take her passion as an entrepreneur to persevere and begin EIS.
